Eesti Pank Museum was opened on 12 June 1997. Banknotes and coins as well as other means of payment that have circulated in the Republic of Estonia form the core of the permanent exhibition. The Museum also collects and displays objects that illustrate the history of Eesti Pank. Wax figures of the persons depicted on contemporary Estonian banknotes are a popular feature of the permanent exhibition.

In addition to an almost complete collection of Estonian banknotes and coins the Museum has accumulated a considerable number of documents, books, photos and other items associated with the pre-war and present-day Bank of Estonia.

Special exhibitions and events take place at the Museum throughout the year. These range from exhibitions of banknotes and coins of other countries to displays dedicated to the history of money.
Eesti Pank Museum

Educational events, meetings, press-conferences, museum evenings and public presentations of new commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Estonia take place at the Museum premises.

Commemorative coins and unused banknotes are on sale at the Museum. Both cash and card payments are acceptable.
Periodicals issued by Eesti Pank can be obtained free of charge from the Museum.
