The design competition for the collector coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Estonian National Museum is nearing its end - the deadline for the submission of designs is 15 December. Both individuals and groups of authors are invited to participate in the design competition, and it is allowed to submit more than one design per coin. Eesti Pank will issue the silver collector coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Estonian National Museum in April 2009.

The central bank wishes to find a design for the 10-kroon silver collector coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Estonian National Museum that would capture the significance of the Estonian National Museum in our cultural history and follow the tradition of the Estonian spoke coins in it shape. The specific technical, participation and assessment conditions and criteria are available on the web site of Eesti Pank. The deadline for submitting properly drawn up designs is 15 December at 16.00.

Eesti Pank will publish the competition results on 19 December 2008 at the latest. The author of the winning design receives a reward of 30,000 kroons after the coins will have been issued.
