Due to Deputy Governor Andres Sutt assuming office, on 3 April 2001 Executive Management of Eesti Pank discussed division of areas of responsibilities between its members. According to the adopted decision, the areas of responsibilities of the central bank are divided as follows:
Governor Vahur Kraft has control over the work of deputy governors, Internal Control Department and Head of Banking Supervision Department.
Deputy Governor Märten Ross is responsible for the work of Financial Markets Department, Central Bank Policy Department, Research Department and Statistics Department.
Deputy Governor Rein Minka is responsible for the work of Clearing Department, Information Technology Department, Legal Department, Personnel Department and Cash and Security Department.
Deputy Governor Andres Sutt is responsible for the work of International and Public Relations Department, Payment and Settlement Systems Department, Central Accounting Department, Banking Statistics and Analysis Department, Governor's Office and Establishment Department.
Head of Banking Supervision Department is Andres Trink.
